William 'Voper' Edwards
Bio: Having been growing up during the time of the first invasion William could remember how things used to be, and so when the Advent arose he didn't fall for their speeches and promises. Instead he joined with the local resistance movement,using his old online persona 'Voper' as a nickname, and helped however he could to bring Earth back to the days he remembered from childhood, when humans lead themselves and were free to decide their own fate.

[Edward's Log: Entry 1 {03/21/35}]
Heard some of the other guys were keeping some of these logs, not much of a log guy myself but figured I'd give it a go. First mission went off well, got the Intel we were sent in for, did end up with someone, I believe her name was Liang, being injured though. Also would help if the commander didn't scream so much when I'm trying to shoot. Missed a point blank shot from that, probly won't live that one down for a while...
Either way guess the guys up in command have faith in me, got handed a sniper rifle when I got back. Been spending the last couple days recovering from the last mission and checking out the rifle, personally feel like I’m a decent shot from the bit of practice I’ve had. Hmm... seems command is calling for me. Looks like I’ll get to see just how good I am.

Just got back from the mission, it was a nasty one. Advent hit a resistance camp and weren’t messing around about it. Only thing holding back the waves of Advent soldiers were us and four of the resistance members. Unfortunately we lost one of them, didn’t really catch his name, and Keller and Pike took some shots. There were a couple of times I thought I was gonna take a hit too, got lucky in the end and managed to take quite a few of them down. Also don’t care what anyone saids, I reloaded on purpose so Keller could finally use that sword of his.

[Edward’s Log: Entry 2 {04/03/35}]
Supply raid today, was suppose to be something simple and quick. Was going well at first, then we got two squads after us at the same time and things went a bit south. Started taking alot of fire, most seemed directed to me and that Snake Eye fellow. While we both took a hit, the good news is we're both too stubborn to die like that. Was something else seeing Snake dodging incoming fire while practically standing in a fire, even had enough left in him to taunt the poor Advent troopers before we finished em off. All said, the Commander got us all back from that mess alive and with the supplies we were sent for, and thats what counts.
That said, medical crews say it'll be a few weeks before either of us will be back into the action. I guess on the plus side, this'll give me some more time to work on making logs.

Back from my first mission since recovering. Pretty simple operation, destroying some Advent device before it could transmit data. Granted we almost didn't make it in time, pretty much busted the thing with my pistol seconds before it transmitted. Ran into our first Muton out there, heard stories of how nasty they can be, lucky for us it went down quickly before it could do any damage.
Ran into two people on a roof for some reason early on, couldn't tell if the one was trying to jump off the roof or they were going to watch the stars tonight, either way whatever plans they had got interupted once the firefight started. I'm beginning to believe that Keller used to be in a nation's armed forces before the invasion with how he was dodging the stun lancers' attempts at CQC with no effort at all(might go ask him about it some time). Lancers would come in swinging, and be dead in the next minute. Remind me to never challenge Keller to a duel....
Well don't think theres much else to say in this log, think I'm gonna head down to the bar in here and talk to some people.

[Edwards' Log: Blacksite {05/06/35}]
I knew that people were going to die, its inevitable when you go up against something like Advent, but it still doesn't prepare you for when it does happen. We lost Borges and Pike today. They fought bravely and bitterly till the end, and I'll remember them for as long as I'm still here. And to think the mission started off so well too. Did everything in my power after that to make sure Snake Eye and Yuri made it back alive, don't think I coud live with myself if anymore of em had gone down.
*sigh* As for the Blacksite itself, it was a nightmare aswell, so many people trapped in glowing green pods. Doubtful if any of them were even alive still. Guess we went in for answer and definitely found some, but its brought alot more questions and a steep price. Easterbrook ain't gonna be happy.
Checked Pike and Borges' bodies on the way through the facility, we didn't have the ablity to bring either of them back unfortunatly but I was able to grab their tags, and what appears to be Pike's last, hastily recorded, log. Gonna take them down to the memorial wall, and probly grab a few drinks too to get my mind off things.
