Ryan" Cyber-1" Taka: private log # 1: (because my previous character is locked up in an xcom cell, I feel like a different perspective should be given) (also, the whole thing will be in third person, as he is a cyborg, and doesn't speak, so it's actually an Ai talking for him): We finally made it to our old safe haven, before the experiments of the first war. it's been twenty years, but Ryan hasn't aged a day over 17, a side -effect of being filled with so much of this "meld" stuff. what we found was a massive shoot out between soldiers in bright colored armor and the alien" peacekeepers" known as advent, apparently over a convoy containing valuable supplies to both parties. While they where distracted, Cyber-1 slipped by, using his modifications to render himself invisible to all but an infrared scan, got onboard the convoy, and took a small, alien cypher and a couple of plasma weaponry. he also found something...strange. it looked like a giant cyropod, much like the one he'd been in when he was turned into Cyber-1, but filled with a odd, green fluid. he departed the convoy and slipped aboard another vehicle, a modified dropship of sorts . after a few minutes, the brightly colored soliders boarded this vessel too, and the ship took off. where it takes use, he has no idea, but he hopes he can finally find some purpose to his life, instead of wandering around as a merc like he has for the past twenty years.
